Novel Necessity: Ash by Malinda Lo
I finished this book last night. (I was too tired to get on and post, sorry!)
It was completely spectacular.
Usually fantasy(ish) isn’t my type of book but I couldn’t set it down. I read the majority of it in 24 hours. Malinda Lo writes with such an incredible sense of reality all the while splashing the story with fantasy. It’s definitely a book of the 21st century.

Uhh...
This fucking sucks. I hate this position. I never want to be a parent if it is anything like this.

DAMNIT.
Tumblr you make me angry. I never deleted my freaking blog design. Gahh. This will have to wait until in the morning, I’m far too tired to deal with this right now.

Negative Nancy
I’m being a Negative Nancy today. Not because of anyone else but because of myself. As much as I stay on top of things and don’t slack, I could do far more than I do. I hate myself for not doing the extra that I could and then getting smacked in the face for it.

I’m so pissed off I feel like I’m going to heave.
I HATE MYSELF FOR LETTING YOU WALK ALL OVER ME!
Nashville is only a year away.. I can’t wait to leave.

Novel Necessity: Purge by Sarah Darer Littman
What an incredible book. Raw and emotional and everything that makes a good novel, a good novel. A great look into eating disorders and treatment.
Every character adding a twist and a personality to spice up the story-line.
A realistic plot with a hopeful ending.
:)
Reading is bliss.
Everyday..
I become less and less interested in what people post on facebook and more and more interested in the book that I’m reading.
:)
I’m a totally lame, nerdy bookwarm and I fucking love it.
One day, wife.
I love cooking, I’d bake more if I wouldn’t eat it all, and I love the occasional shoot-em-up movie. (Okay, okay I like them just as much as chick-flicks.)
One day, I’m going to be an amazing wife.
Hopefully somewhere cute, on the outskirts of Nashville, curled up with apple cider, reading a great novel.
:)
Sometimes..
I really miss my friends that live in Salt Lake. Then I realize that when you leave the city in junior high ten minutes of a car ride turns into a whole world away from everyone. I somewhat doubt they think the same. Or maybe none of us are gutsy enough to text the other and say “what up” every once in a while to let the other know that we haven’t forgotten. I think I’ll...
